THE IMPORTED ENTIRE HORSE Phoenix, imported by Mr. Hill, of Sydney, and sold to Mr. Rouse, of Box Hill, near Windsor, for 800 Guineas, and now sold to Mr. R. Jenkins, only for a change of blood. Phoenix is a beautiful bay, with black points, and full of bone, stands 16 hands 1 inch high, with superior action, and free fiom natural defects. Phoenix was got by Young Phantom, dam by Admiral, whose sire was General Benefit; Young Phantom, by Ph-niom, winner of the Derby in 1 811 1 and sire of Cedric and Cobweb, winners of the Derby and Oaks in 1824, and of Middleton, winner of the Derby in 1825, dam Emetine, winner of the Claret in 1821. by Waxy, sire of Webb, Wofull, Wire, Whisker, Whalebone, #c. Phoenix obtained the premium at Beverly in 1840, given by the East Riding Agricultural Society, to the best Stallion for getting Coach
