TffE IMPORTED ENTIRE HORSE Phoenix, imported by Mr. Hill, of Sydney, and sold to Mr. Rouse, of Box Hill, near Windsor, for 800, Guineas, and now sold to Mr. R. Jenkins, only

for a change of blood. Phoenix is a beautiful bay, with black points, and full of.bone, stands 16 hands 1 inch high, with superior action, and free from natural defects. Phoenix was got by Young Phantom, dam by Admiral, whose sire was General Benefit; Young Phantom, by' PMntom, winner of the Derby in '2811, and sire of Cedric and Cobweb, winners of the Derby and Oaks in 1824, and, of Middleton, winner of the Derby in 1825, data Emetine, winner of the Claret in 1821. by Waxy, sire of Webb, Wofull, Wire, Whisker, Whalebone, SfC Phoenix obtained the., premium' at Beverly in 1840, given by the East Riding Agricultural Society, to the best Stalljon for getting Coach Horses and Hunters, beating five others. l Captain Apperly, who was for several .years in New South Wales, purchasing Horses for the H.E.1. C.5., preferred the colts of Phcenix's get to any in the Colony.
