TENDERS FOR BEACH ROAD.

rpENDERS will be received by the ComJL mittee for Repaiiing the Beach Road for the construction of a Wooden Breastwork from the corner, of Willis-street to Mr. Rowland Davis' wharf. Tenders sealed and endorsed "Tenders for Breastwork" to be sent, on or before Wednesday next, the 6th inst., to the office of Mr. Park, Surveyor, where a specification of the works may be seen and further particulars obtained. JOHN MONK, on the Porirua Road, wishes to return his grateful thanks to the Public at large for the kindness they have bestowed upon him and bis family in assisting him under the loss he sustained by the fire on the 22d of November, 1848, which destroyed his bouse and all it contained.
