Colonel Gold has kindly permitted ihe excellent Band of the 65tl r«,iment to be in attendance on this occasion. To give increased accommodation to thp visitors, the whole suite of rooms will be thrown open for the first time, presenting an extent of upwards of 3 0 feet. rpENDERS will be received by the C.nnmitee JL for Repairing ihe Bench Road, for making: two se pa i ate lengths of Road, of five Chains each, commencing at the north end, from ihe corner of Sydney and Mulgrave Streets; and at the south end, from the corner of Y. iliis Street. The Roadway to be of the width of twenty feet, with an aveiagi depth of nine inches of metal. Tenders, sealed and endorsed, " Tenders for Beach Road," to be ben*, on or before Thursday next, 24th Augus f , to the office of Mr. Park, Surrey or, where specifications of the works may be seen, and further particulars obtained. Tenders will bn received by the Committee for Repairing »he Beach Road, for making a Footpath of five Chains in length, commencing from the corner of Willis Street, and of the width oF seven feet.
