TENDERS FOR BEACH ROAD.
npENDERS will be received by the Commitee JL for Repairing the Beach Road, for making two separate lengths of Road, of five Chains each, commencing at the north end, from the corner of Sydney and Mulgrave Streets; and at the south end, from the corner of Willis Street. The Roadway to be of the width of twenty feet, with an average depth of nine inches of metal. Tenders, sealed and endorsed, " Tenders for Beach Road," to be sent, on or before Thursday next, 24th August, to the office of Mr. Park, Surveyor, where specifications of the work's may be seen, and further particulars obtained. Tenders will be received by the Committee for Repairing the Beach Road, for making a Footpath of five Chains in length, commencing from the corner of Willis Street, and of*the width of seven feet. Tenders, sealed and endorsed, " Tenders for Footpath," to be sent, on or before Thursday next, 24th August, to the office of Mr. Park, Surveyor, where specifications of the works may be seen, and further particulars obtained.

Colonel Gold has kindly permitted the excellent Band of the 65th regiment to be in attendance on this occasion. To give increased accommodation to the visitors, the whole suite of rooms will be thrown open for the first time, presenting an extent of upwards of 300 feet. In the course of the evening several fa\ ourite pieces will be performed by the Hand. For further particulars see future bills and advertisements. Tickets, ss. each, to admit a lady and gentleman.
