THE THOROUGH BRED ENTTRE HORSE PETER FINN, 6 years old, lately imported in the Sisters fnrni Hobart Town ; bred by Richard Dry, Esq., of Van Diemen's Land, from a celebrated thoroughbred horse imported from England, and wliich was sold in Van Diemen's Land for 700 Guineas. The above Horse was shipped for Auckland, but in consequence of the bad weather experienced on the passage from Hobart Town, the owner is unwilling to risk him again at ssa, and will therefore sell without reserve. Wellington, 19th August, 1848.

BETHUNE & HUNTER will sell by public auction, at the Stockyards, Te Aro, on Monday next, the 21st inst., The cargo of the Barque "William," ©Sydney, consisting of 27 fine large-framed Bullocks in good condition 2 well bred Bulls 33 Cows in calf "J half-bred, short hor45 two year old Heifers l-ned Durhams, per34 yearling ' do. J feet in symmetiy 2 very superior Mares 200 Merino Ewes 10 do. Rams This cargo of Stock was carefully selected for the New Zealand market by a first rate judge ; the cattle are strong, healthy, and well bred. Buyers will do well to bear in mind that the low prices recently obtained for stock, must put a stop to importation, and parties should therefore avail themselves of the present opportunity of purchasing. After which, 3 milch cows with calves by their sides (from the Hutt.) Sale to commence at 12 o'clock precisely. Exchange, Wellington, August 17, 1818.

E. & M. Moses, who having purchased them under peculiar advantages have directed their Consignees to sell them unreservedly on liberal terms. Full particulars will appear in Catalogues.
