The Elora arrived on Saturday from England, after a very favourable run of 106 days. She has brought English news' to the 10th February. A very interesting debate had taken place in the House of Commons (Feby. I 9th) on the New Zealand bill, to make room for which we .have been obliged to omit several pieces of local and other intelligence. The Acheron had sailed from England about the middle of January, and may therefore be daily expected. ' Another Blue Book on New Zealand affairs consisting chiefly of Despatches from Capt. Grey, had been published, and was referred to in the debate. The latest price of oil according to advices by the Elora, was, Sperm £82 to £83, Southern pale £33 to £33 ss. whale bone (Southern) £150 to £155 ; New Zealand wool, in grease, 6d. per lb, washed 1 Od. to lid.

The Agnes Hay arrived on Monday from Pigeon Bay which she left on the previous Thursday. H.M.S. Fly, and the Perseverance had heen detained at Akaroa hy contrary winds up to the 18th inst. The Perseverance was entering Pigeon Bay when the Agnes Hay left, having experienced heavy weather after leaving Akaroa in which she carried away her boom.
