Desirable Town Acre for Sale.

MESSRS. BETHUNE & HUNTER will sell by Auction at the Exchange on Tuesday next, 18th instant, - m TOWN ACRE No. 477 on the plan of Wellington, adjoining allotments occupied by Mess. THE UNDERSIGNED have entered into arrangements for the importation of a Cargo of very superior COWS, HEIFERS, and STEERS, to be carefully selected by a competent judge from the well known and justly celebrated herds of the late Dr. Beaumont. (Bow and arrow brand.) There will also be for sale from 600 to 800 fine-woolled Maiden EWES, several excellent Draught and Saddle MARES, and a few good PONIES. This shipment is expected to arrive within six weeks, and intending purchasers are requested to make early application, as a considerable portion of the cargo is already sold. Bethune & Hunter. CATTLE AND HORSES. MR. G. M'CLYMONT having rechartered the barque "RAYMOND," Captain Hart, this first rate Stock-carrying ship sails for TWOFOLD BAY direct to-morrow, and may be expected in Wellington in from Five or Six weeks from this time, with a cargo of Steers and Heifers from 2 to 3 years old, Maiden Ewes, Horses and Mares for Draught and Saddle. Parties desirous to contract for delivery of the above Stock are invited to apply to D. M. Laurie, At Messrs. James Smith & Co. Wellington, 14th April, 1848.
