NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that all parties having Gunpowder in the Old Magazine on Mount Cook, will be pleased to send to the undersigned, on or before Tuesday next the 14th instant, a statement showing the quantity and description, as well a* the marks on the barrels, and to produce the receipts granted at the time of the delivery of the same into the Magazine. Sydney Shipping. [From the Sydney Papers.] The Barque Ralph Bernal, 315 tons, M'Laren, arrived from Auckland on the 17th Feb. The Schooner Sarah Ann, Dunnett, from Tahiti 11th January and Bay of Islands 12th February. The Sarah Ann, after leaving Tahiti, touched at Raiatea, Morea, and Aitutake. H.M.S. Calliope was at the Bay of Islands when she sailed from thence. The flas? staff had been re-erected and it was the intention of Captain Stanley to hoist the British flag on .Saturday, the 12th inst. We understand that Heki had expressed his determination to pull it down the moment be did so The ship Kelso, 567 tons, Roxburgh, sailed for Port Nicholson via Twofold Bay, on the 18th February. Passengers — Mr. and Mrs. Inglis, Mr. C. Sidey, Mr. Morvey, and eight stockmen.
English Shipping. The Chateley (P.O.P) Weighill, sailed from the Downs for Sydney on the 3rd November. The Jane Catherine, 500 tons, Hewitt, had been appointed the Post Office Packet for December. H. M. Ship Castor, from New Zealand, arrived at Chatham on the 7th November, to be paid off.
