Stdney Shipping. [From the Sydney Papers.] The Brightman and Kelso have been taken up for the conveyance of stock to New Zealand ; the former proceeds to Nelson, and the latter to Port Nicholson. The schooner Comet, Cork, sailed for Nelson on the 3rd Feb. The schooner Star of China, 101 tons, Dowker, sailed for Nelson and Taranaki on the 24th January. The barque Cacique, 141 tons, M'Kie, sailed for Auckland on the Ist February. The schooner Kate, 61 tons, Bowden, sailed for Auckland the same day.
English Shipping. Two vessels, each about 600 tons, had been taken up by the New Zealand Company for the conveyance of 400 emigrants from London and Glasgow to the New Zealand Company's Settlement at Gtakou ; they would sail about the Ist November.
