English Shipping. The ship Ann, 800 tons, Walker, was to sail from Gravesend on the 20th September, and Belfast the sth October, with emigrants for New Zealand.
Sydney Shipping. Arrivals — December 31, — Schooner Perseverance, 82 tons, Wood, from Wellington 11th inst. January 6 — Schooner Kate, 61 tons, Bowden, from Wellington 22nd November.
HMS Snake was wrecked on the 29th August on a reef near Mocambo, ten miles south of the Island of Mozambique, the officers and crew were saved and arrived at Port Louis, Mauritius, in the French Brig Voltigeur.
