THE REV. J. J. P. O'REILY having secured Mr. Fryer's well attested experience 1 and skill in teaching, in consequence, begs respectfully to inform the Catholic Inhabitants of Port Nicholson, that School will be opened _in St. Mary's Chapel on Monday morning 6th instant, where all information required shall be given to parents, who, may honour the School with their patronage. * Should any of our beloved dissentient Brethren please'to intrust their Children to our care, and wish them' not to be partakers in those religious-exefcises, which occasionally will have place ; and which as Lord Bacon says, should be as a spice informing and shedding a flavour over secular knowledge, so to hinder its corruption ; yet, however truly desirable, still on this religious head, shall the wishes of such Parents and Children be faithfully adhered to.
