O'REILY having ser _L cured Mr. Fryer's well attested experience and skill in teaching, in consequence, begs respectfully to inform the Catholic Inhabitants of Port Nicholson, that School will be opened in St. Mary's Chapel on Monday morning 6th instant, where all information required shall be given to parents, who, may honour the School with their patronage. * Should any of our beloved dissentient Brethren please to intrust their Children to our care, and wish them not to be partakers in those religious exercises, which occasionally will have place ; and which as Lord Bacon says, should be as a spice informing and- shedding a flavour over secular knowledge, so to hinder its corruption ; yet, however truly desirable, still on this religious head, shall the wishes of such Parents and Children be faithfully adhered to. Twofold Bay Heifers.

MR. G. M'CLYMONT having purchased all the Heifers of the Twofold Bay brand, Selected from the most improved- oi" the late Dr. Imlay's herds, of age similar to those imported by the John Fleming: and this superior Stock, so highly approved of throughout New Zealand, being intended for shipment to Port Nicholson immediately on Mr. M'Clymont's return to Twofold Bay, the undersigned is prepared to contract for delivery of the same within a few weeks from this date, in such numbers as parties may require. THE Undersigned having entered into an arrangement with the Contractors for the delivery of several cargoes of Cattle for contract purposes from New South Wales, would have no objection to enter into similar engagements with parties here who may be desirous of purchasing ajimited number of Cows and Heifers, to be selected from one of the best herds in New South Wales, and guaranteed to be at least equal to the best of those lately landed ex Eleanor Lancaster. Parties desirous of treating for the delivery first-rate Stock, will therefore please make early application to Moses Yule, At the Office of P. M. Hervey. Wellington, 26th November, 1847.
