The following are the Signals used at tht Flag Staff at Mount Albert.

Remarks.— A White Flag at Mast Head denotes a sail in sight; when the class is asdertained, the descriptive Signal will be hoisted at the Yard Arm. , ' English vessel of war, Union Jack at Mast Head. Foreign vessel of war, Union Jack at Mast Head, with white Pendant.- - - Government brig, white Pendant under descriptive Signal. When a vessel is at anchor, either inside or outside the Heads, the flag is lowered 4o -ialf mast. A vessel in distress, or on shore, deicriptiv* signal half mast. Fore and aft schooner, a triangle hollow in the centre.
