J. H. M., in announcing his Annual Benefit, embraces this as the means of returning his thanks to the Public for the liberal support which he has hitherto received. From the flattering approbation bestowed last season upon the production of Rob Roy, J. H. M. is induced to offer, on this occasion, another Opera of the series founded on the " Scott's" Novels. In placing GUY M ANNEXING on the Stage, with all its characteristic Music, Scenery, Dresses, &c. &c, and aided by powerful and additional talent, J. H. M. trusts the performance will give the same universal satisfaction which it has been his good fortune to secure on all former occasions. The performance will commence with the celebrated Scotch Opera, in 3 Ad 9, founded on

In the course of the piece the following Songs, Duets, Glees, Choruses, &c. : — Glee, "The winds whistle cold." Trio and Chorus, " The Fox Jumpt over the Parson's Gate." Sono, " Oh rest thee Babe." Duet, "Echo." — Song, "Be mine, dear maid." Song, "Comin' thro' the Rye." Song, "Scots wha hae." Duet, "Without a Companion." Gipsey Glee, " The Chough and Crow." Song, "Oh hark thee, Henry." Song, " Follow him. " Song, " Still so gently o'er me." Chorus, "Now fill the glass." Song, " The Captive Knight." Finale and Chorus, " There 's nae luck."

After the Opera the following songs : — 'Bartholomew Fair' (by desire), by a Gentleman. 'Health to Captain Grey,' Mr. Hamblin; ' The Charity Girl' (in character), Mr. Green. 'TheNew Policeman' (in character), Mr.Maniott. ' The Chandler's Shop,' by a Gentleman.
