Secretary '-s Office, ' Wellington, 25th March, 1847. SEALED TENDERS, in duplicate, will be received -at this office, until twelve o'clock of THURSDAY, the Bth April next, from parties desirous of supplying the Local Government with TOTARA and MAI TIMBER, during the ending the 30th June,

The -Timber is required for tke construction of small bridges on the road between the Hutt Bridge and the Gorge.; it will consist principally of scantling in convenient lengths, — to be delivered at such places as may be pointed out. The Tenders should state the price per ICO feet board measure, «nd no Timber will be received which is not approved by the Officer appoint-

furnish. Offers will at the same time be received for the HIRE of CARTS, HORSES, and DRIVERS, at per diem, to be employed on the Hutt line of Road, as nbove described. Also, on the Road between Wellington and Petoni. The number of Carts and Horses, &c, the parties will be prepared to furnish when called upon, should be stated.
