The schooner Kate, 62 tons, Salmon, from Port Nicholson 13th and Hawke's Bay 22nd December, arrived at Sydney January 12. The schooner Velocity, 138 tons, Hogg', from Port Nicholson 3d January, arrived at Sydney January 14. The barque British Sovereign, Jones, sailed for Port Nicholson via Boyd Town, January 8. The brig Sir John Byng, Forbes, sailed for Port Nicholson via Boyd Town, January 7. The barque Lady Rowena, 296 tons, M'Donald, for Port Nicholson via Twofold Bay, sailed on the 20th January. Passengers — Mr. C. Sidey, Mr. A. Hort, Miss M. Hort, Miss C. Hort, Mrs. Johnston, Miss A. Johnston, Master C. Johnston Mr. M. Evans, Mr. J. D. Creary, Messrs. J. M' Cara, T. Ryan, B. Moran, and H. Sole.
