Engineer Contracts at Wellington. Commissariat Office, Wellington, 21st January, 1847. IS HEREBY GIVEN, That JJN Sealed -Tenders, tn duplicate, will be received at this Office, 'until .Saturday, the 6th February next, at noon, for the erection of the 'undermentioned Buildings; or separate tenders •will be received for the execution of any portion of the work of either building, with or without the building materials being furnished by the party contracting: — "Ist, Temporary Wooden Barracks and OutBuildings, to be erectednear the Gaol in Wellington, according to plans and specifications to be seen at the Royal Engineer Office, Wellington. 2d, A Brick or Stone Powder Magazine and 'Boundary Wall, to be erected on Mount "Cook, close to the present Colonial Magazine, also according to plans and specifications to be seen at the Royal Engineer Office. 3d, Tenders will < also be received for furnishing all or any of the undermentioned Building Materials, &c, to be delivered as they may be required by the Executive Engineer at the spot intended for the erection of the Powder Magazine; viz. 176,000 Bricks — 1140 bushels of Shell Lime — 153 loads of washed and screened Sand — 2300' Dutchess Slates— 4o lbs. metal composition Nails — 2 14-inch copper Locks, with screws — 4 lbs.
