English: vessel of war, Union Jack at Mast Head; Foreign- vessel of War, Union Jack at Mast Head, with white "Pendant. Government brig, white Pendant under descriptive' Signal. When a vessel is at anchor, either inside ol outside the Heads* the flag is lowered to h*H mast. A vessel in distress, or on shore, descriptors signal half mast. _ Fore and aft schooner, a triangle- hollow in the centre.
