H.M.S. JSforth Star, Capt. Sir E. Home, was in the English Channel on the 22d August. The Lady -Rowcna has been 118 days on the I passage from Liverpool. She was compelled, from contrary winds, to round the island of Van Diemen's Land, which has prolonged her voyage for several days. She reports having spoken, on the 26th df October, fhe barque Hope, from London to New Zealand, in lat. 38 dcg. 33 mm. S., long. 39 deg,, 48 mm. E.
