Secretary's office, Wellington, 11th December, 1846. HTIHE UNDERMENTIONED DEEDS OF J. Grants, advertised in the New Zealand Government Gazette of the 2nd August, 1845, are now lying in this office, and will be delivered to the Grantees on application. In cases where it is impossible for the Grantee to attend in person to receive his Deed, it will be delivered to the bearer of an authority according to the subjoined form, certified by a magistrate or by a solicitor of the Supreme Court. Form of authority referred to above. ENGINEER CONTRACTS. / Commissariat Office, Willis-street, 4th December, 1846. SEALED TENDERS, in duplicate, will be received at this office, until Saturday, the 19th inst., at noon, for the election of a Powder Magazine, of brick or stone; and also a Weather Boarded Barracks, (both in Wellington), according to plans and specifications to be seen at the Commissariat office. Tenders may be sent in for executing any portion of the above works. Each Tender must be marked on the envelope, " Tender fo>' Engineer Services," and must be accompanied by a written statement of two persons, expressing their willingness to become bound for the due fulfilment of the Contract, the penalty of the bond being equal to half the sum required for the performance of the engagement.
