Sydney Shipping. The Star of China arrived nt Sydney October 27th, from Wellington 3d, and from Nelson 15th October. She was advertised to sail for Wellington, November 7th. The Comet and Bee were also to 'sail for Wellington shortly after the Urgent. The following vessels were expected in Sydney from London : — Annßatet, 450 tons, Weighill, June 10. St. George, 605 tons, Jones, July 25. George, 414 tons, Gordon, June 15. Thomas Lowry (P.0.P.) 409 tons, Graham, July 1. Hamlet, 349 tons, Wilson, July 1. The Paul Jones with a cargo of sandalwood on board, which had been collected at Swan River, arrived at Hong Kong on the 19th June. The Java sailed from Sydney for Auckland November 2d. In addition to the officers and troops reported in the Spectator as passengers, the following have embarked from Sydney, namely: — Major F. W. Wyatt, Capt. W. Johnson, Lieut. J. Gordon, Ensign R. P. T. ThelwaU, Acting Adjutant and Quarter Master ; Ensign James Barton, with five sergeants and one hundred and seventeen rank and file ; being the detachment at Sydney under the command of Major Wyatt. Brigade Major O'Connell, of the 99th, also proceeds by this vessel.
Private letters state the Hope was to sail for New Zealand on the 30th June.
