The Slams Castle passed through Cook's Strait on Friday with a fair wind on her homeward voyage. She has a great number of passengers and some of the officers and fifty of the crew of the French Frigate La Seine, which was wrecked near New Caledonia.
Sydney Si ippixg. — The Schooner Susannah Ann from Port Nicholson arrived at Sydney August 27th, and the schooner Kale arrived August 30th. The schooner Terror sailed from Sydney for Auckland fcept 2d. . - Ihe Susannah Ann was advertized -to sail for Port Nicholson via Twofold Bay. The Kate was also laid on for this port. H. M. S. Carytifort, 26 guns, Captain George Seymour, sailed for Auckland and Valparaiso Aug. 29th.
