MILITARY CONTRACTS.

Commissariat Office, Willis-street, Wellington, July 25th, 1846. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that Sealed Tenders in duplicate, will be received by the Undersigned until Monday the 17th day of August next, for supplying the Commissariat Department at Paramatta Point, Porirua, and at such other Post as may be formed on the Porirua Road, within four miles of Jackson s Ferry, with the undermentioned articles, in any quantities that may be required between the Ist September, J846, and 31st March 1847, under the conditions published in the New Zealand Spectator newspaper, of the 7th March last, with reference to Contract* for furnishing supplies to the Troops at Wellington and the River Hutt posts, viz. . Rum, (West India), at per Imperial gallon. Mould Candles, at per lb. Dip Candles, at per lb. For Hospitals, &c. Arrow Root, Sago, Rice, Tea, ] Sugar Oatmeal, Salt, Yellow 1 t Soap, Pearl Barley, mixed Ye- [ * tables, Potatoes, Fine Bread J Milk, at per pint. Port Wine, at per dozen. Vinegar, at per Imperial Gallon. Porter, at per dozen.

Separate Tenders mayie sent in for any one or more of the above articles, except those under the head of Hospitals, which must all be included in one Tender. The same contracts must extend to supplying
