The Mathesis cleared outwards for New Zealand on the 17th December. The Madras, under engagement to the New Zealand Company, was to sail on the 15th March. The China sailed from the Downs for Norfolk Island Jan. 8, with 200 convicts, and a guard of 1 subaltern, 3 Serjeants, 2 corporals, and 50 rank and file of the 65th regt., the latter of which will join their regiment at New Zealand. The schooner Comet is undergoing a thorough repair after which she will resume her trips to New Zealand. The Fanny Morris had not arrived ia Sydney when the Kestrel left, on the 30th instant. The Fanny Morris left Nelson about the 10 th April last, with Mesrs. Creagh. Taylor, Hart, Hooper, and Lieut. Rush, from Port Nicholson. The Shamrock, which left this port April 29, was 29 days in reaching Sydney. The Kestrel shipped 110 head of cattle and 3 horses, she has lust 65 cattle and 2 horses.
