MOUNT ALBERT.

The following are the Signals used at tht Flag Staff at Mount Albert.

A Square denotes a Ship, ~) When the ACross " a Barque, KSfiiL A Circle " a Brig, V£??l X A Triangle " a Schooner, I* B * D *' A Diamond " a Cutter, S« £ A Parallelogram" a Steamer; J lowered. Remarks. — A White Flag at Mast Head denotes a sail in sight; when the class is ascertained, the descriptive Signal will be hoisted at the Yard Arm. English vessel of war, Union Jack at Mast Head. Foreign vessel of war, Union Jack at Mait Head, with *hite Pendant. Government brig, white Pendant under descriptive Signal. When a vessel is at anchor, either inside oi outside* the Heads, the fiagi is lowered to half mast. A vessel in distress, or on shore, descriptive signal half mast. Fore and aft schooner, a triangle hollow in the centre.
