MILITARY CONTRACTS. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that Sealed Tenders in duplicate, will be received at this Office, by the Undersigned until Monday the 15th instant, at noon, for furnishing the Commissariat at Wellington, and at the_ River Hutt, with the supplies undermentioned, in such quantities as may be required during the nine calendar months, commencing the Ist of July next, under the conditions which have been published in the New Zealand Spectator newspaper, of the 7th March last, with reference to similar Contracts for the current Military year: — Bread, "1 Vegetables, J, , Or, the Ration ot Bread and Meati, consisting of 1 Jb. of each, may be tenttered at per Ration. Rum, (West India), at per Imperial gallon. Firewood, of a marketable description, and cut into 4 feet lengths, at per 1001b. Mould Candles, at per lb. Dip Candles, at per lb. For Hospitals, &c. Arrow Root, Sago, Rice, Tea, "J Sugar, Oatmeal, Salt, Yellow I * „„,. Soap, Pearl Barley, mixed Ye- f at P er B ' tables, Potatoes, Fine Bread J Milk, at per pint. Port Wine, at per dozen. Vinegar, at per Imperial Gallon. Porter, at per dozen. Of the foregoing, Meat and Rum, are the only articles required at Wellington. All the above mentioned articles are required for the use of the troops stationed in the River Hutt district, and separate Tender* will be received/or any one or more of them, excepting those under the head of Hospitals, which must be included in one Tender. In other respects the several conditions of Contract published in March last, and above alluded to, are intended to apply to such Tenders as may be sent in in consequence of this advertisement, and parties desirous of Tendering are requested to refer thereto.
