NOTICE TO SUBSCRIBERS.
The Committee of the Spectator, taking into consideration the present critical state of this settlement, and the importance of faithfully recording passing events, have decided upon issuing this paper twice a-week, in the full assurance, that their fellow settlers will not only bear them out in this endeavour to render the Spectator a more frequent and efficient organ of Public opinion, but will also, by additional support, prevent any loss to the Publisher, who has liberally consented to this arrangement without imposing any extra charge upon the Subscribers. The Spectator will in future be published every Wednesday and Saturday, and the price to Non-subscribers will be Sixpence each number.
Died, on Monday last, at Hawkestone Street, John Tupper, Esq., aged 35 years.
