Same day. — Schooner Carton, 25 tons, Watson, from New Plymouth, with flour. Same day.— Schooner Uncle Sam, 27 tons, Atkins, from Havke's Bay. Passengers— Messrfc. Perry, Day, Hall, Lewis, Hook, and three Natives. May 3.— Barque Judith, 253 tons, Phillips, from Newcastle via Auckland, with coals. May 6.— H.M.S. Calliojie, 26 guns, Capt. Stanley, from Porirua. Same day. — Schooner Sarah Jane, 29 tons, Swan, from the East Coast, with pork and maize. Same day.— Schooner Fidele, 8 tons, Cemino, from Ohau, with 40 coils N. Z. rope. May B.— Brig Alfred, 123 tons, Napper, from Sydney, with 150 sheep, 26 head cattle, and general cargo.
DEPARTURES. May 2.— Schooner Fidete, 8 tons, Cemino, for Ohau, with sundries. May 3.— Brig Bee, 134 tons, Untbank, for Nelson and Otatou. May 5. — Brigantine Star of China, 112 tons, Wood, for Tahiti, with timber. May 6. — Schooner Elizdbtth, 52 tons, Read, for Auckland via Nelson.
The barque Eagle left Newcastle, New South Wales, for New Zealand April 16. The brigantine Scotia sailed from Sydney for Otakou April 18. The Ralph Bernal sailed from Deal for New Zealand the 6th December. The barque Brougham arrived ar Sydney April 10, she left London on the 2nd September, 1844, and since that has procured 400 barrels sperm oil. She has been unfortunate, having been dismasted about twelve months since, which obliged her to put into Batavia, and caused considerable detention.
