DEBENTURES.

Wellington, 20th April, 1846. HIS EXCELLENCY the LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR directs it to be notified, that in order to avoid delay and inconvenience to the Public, the Debentures issued in the Southern division of the colony, in conformity with the terms of the Government Notice dated 24th November, 1845, in exchange for those lately in circulation, will, in future, bear the signatures of the Superintendent, Secretary, and SubTreasurer of Wellington, in lieu of those of the Governor, Colonial-Secretary, and Treasurer : and that all Debentures bearing such signatures will be recognized at the Colonial Treasury. By command of his Excellency, the Lieutenant-Governor. M. Richmond, Superintendent.

Commissariat Office, Willis Street, Wellington, 24th April, 1846. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That SEALED Tenders in Duplicate, will be received by the Undeisigned, until Monday the 4th day of May next, for supplying the Commissariat Department, at Paramatta Point, Porirua, with the undermentioned articles, in such quantities as may be required between the 15th proximo and the 31st March, 1847, under the conditions published in the Wellington Spectator of the 7th March last, with reference to contracts for furnishing similar supplies to the troops at Wellington, viz. Rum, (West India,) at per Imperial Gallon. Mould Candles, at per ib. Dip Candles, at per lb. For Hospitals, &c. Arrow Root, Sago, Rice, Tea, ~) Sugar, Oatmeal. Salt, Yellow V. a j p^ r i^ Soap, Pearl Barley, mixed Ye- C getables, Potatoes, Fine Bread ■* Milk, at per pint. Port Wine, at per dczen. Vinegar, at per Imperial Gallon. Porter, at per dozen.

Separate Tenders may be sent in for any one or more of the above articles, except those under the head of Hospitals, which must all be
