PROCLAMATION.
I By His Excellency,GEOßdE Grey, Esq., Lieut.-Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Maj esty* Colony of New Zealand, and its dependencies, and Vice- Admiral of the same, &c, &c. WHEREAS by a Proclanfetion bearing date the 26th day. of April, 1845, it was .proclaimed and declared that Martial Law would be exercised ■ throughout that part of the Northern district of New Zealand, which lies around the Buy of Islands, (including the said Bay), and within a circle of sixty mile* in any direction from Russell, until the said district shall be relieved from the jurisdiction of Martial Law by public pro- ; felamation. And whereas the present circumstan- , ces <of the colony vender it unnecessary that
Martial .Law should be longer excercistdwitton the laid district. Now I, the Lieutenant.
