ANNIVERSARY FETE.

AT a Public Meeting held at Barrett's Hotel on the 30th December, 1845, Charles Clifford, Esq., in the chair, a Committee of the following Gentlemen was appointed to collect Subscriptions, and decide upon the sports to be adopted, receive entries, &c, at the Anniversary Fete, on the 22d of January, 1846. Mr. Dorset Captain Rhodes Hon. H. Petre Mr. Tankersley Mr. Watt Mr. Boulcott Mr. Clifford Mr. Baker Mr. Wade Mr. Hunter Mr. Sutton Mr. Jenkins Mr. Waitt Mr. Moore Mr. Johnson Mr. R. Davis Mr. Hickson Mr. W. Wakefield Mr. Bethune Mr. E. Chetham Mr. Ludlam With power to add to their number. ANNIVERSARY FETE.

A SECOND MEETING of the Anniversary Fete Committee will take place on Monday next, Jan. 12, at Barrett's Hotel, when it is requested that every member will attend. Wellington, January 10, 1846.

ANNIVERSARY BALL

WILL take place, at the Britannia Saloon, on Friday, the 23d instant, the Second Day of the Fete, at the request of several gentlemen, to conclude the entertainments, on which occasion the Stage will be fitted up, and the premises lately the property of M*. J. M. Taylor will be' tastefully decorated and added to the Saloon as Promenade and refreshment Rooms, making the same above one hundred feet in length.
