[From the New Zealander, Nov. 3.]
On Sunday the 21st Sept. the Rev. W, Bolland was admitted into Priests orders at St. Paul's Church, Auckland, by the Bishop of New Zealand. On the same day the Rev. J. Skeving'on, Wesleyan Missionary of Taranaki, ilied sud.ienly during divine service in the Wesleyan chapel at Auckland. An inquest was held the following day when, after hearing the evidence of the Rev. Thomas Buddie, and Mr. H. Lawry, who were near the deceased in the chapel, the jury returned a verdict of " died by the visitation of God." The deceased was in the prime ef life — being only thirty one years old.
