The David Malcolm sailed from Eden, the Government township of Twofold Bay, on the sth NoTember. When she sailed the Comet was also at Eden, and had part of her cargo of stock on board, and was to sail for Nelson the following day. The Munford was also about to take on board a cargo of sheep at the same place for Wellington, and would sa ; l about the 9th. Five hundred ewes were originally pnt on board the David Malcolm in Sydney, but fearing the voyage would be too long for them, the charterer sent them on shore at Twofold Bay, and filled up with cattle. One cow, 1 heifer and 1 steer died on the voyage from Eden out of 230 head of cattle. Rye vessels are at present running from Eden to Hobart Town with fat cattle and sheep, viz., the barques Morayshire and Eleanor, brig Lord Hobart, schooners Ariel and Lowestoft. The whaling barque PocMington, and whaling brig Johanna were lying at Eden when the David Malcolm sailed. There were no vessels lying at the township of Boyd.
