MOUNT ALBERT.
The following are the Signals used at the Flag Staff at Mount Albert. A Square denotes a Ship, "1 Whenthi ACross " a Barque, 2^2 JL A Circle » a Brig, {T?ln* A Triangle " a Schooner, [?* i TA A A Diamond " a Cutter, ] Jtfu be A Parallelogram" a Steamer, j lowered. Remarks. — A White Flag at Mast Head denotes a sail in sight; when the class is ascertained, the descriptive Signal will be hoisted at the Yard Arm. English vessel of war, Union Jack at Matt Head. Foreign vessel of war, Union Jack at Matt Head, with white Pendant. Government brig, white Pendant under dc scriptive Signal. When a vessel is at anchor, either inside oc outside the Heads, the flag is lowered to ball mast. A vessel in distress, or on shore, descriptive* signal half mast. Fore and aft schooner, a triangle, hollow i» the centre.
