Sir, —Can any of jour readers inform me of the mode and expense of making the extract of Mimosa bark in Van Diemen's Land, as it is shipped to England for tanning purposes? Tt is said that the Hinau bark has been pronounced equal to the best English Oak bark—it would, therefore, bp useful to the settlers to know the most profitable way of shipping it. I am, &c, Keri.
