October 9. — Cutter Wave, 8 tons, Morton, for Manawatu, sundries. October 10. — Schooner Ann and Sarah, 28 torn, Sinclair, for Kapiti. Sweat day. — Schooner Isabella, 14 tons, Pimble, for East Cape.

The British Sovereign will sail to-day (September 20) for New Zealand, with a detachment of troops, consisting of Lieutenant Colonel Wynyard, Captain Laye, Lieutenants Dressing, Hay, Petley, and Page, Ensign Wynyard, Assistant Surgeon Philson, nine Serjeants, five drummers, and 200 rank and file of the 58th regiment. A large quantity of military stores, including howitzers, fieldpiecei, and ammunition, are on board the ship. — Sydney Morning Herald. The Haidee, a barque of 330 tons, was expected to sail from Sydney for Port Nicholson in a month's time, with sheep and a general cargo. The Nelson was to sail from England in all Jane, for Nelson and Wellington, and may therefore be expected in the course of this month. We are informed that on her arrival the will be immediately laid on for England.

H.M.S. Racehorte, 18 gum, Captain Hay, arrived August 28* at Adelaide ; from England, Bth May, Cape of Good Hope 11th July, and Swan River, 15th inst., with specie. She sailed again on the 3d September, for Hobart Town and Sydney. It is reported she will proceed to New Zealand.
