DEPARTURES. Sept. 27. — Government Brig Victoria, Richards, for Nelson and Taranaki. Same day. — Schooner I don't know, Thompson, for the South Sea Islands. October 1. — Schooner Fidele, Cemino, for Kapiti. Same day. — Schooner Lady of the Lake, Axton, for Kapiti. October 2. — Schooner Lady Leigh, Reid, for Hbbart Town via Nelson.

The Pocohontas, American whaling ship, Manter, arrived at Auckland, Sep. 4th, from the whaling grounds, with 450 barrels sperm, and 500 barrels black oil, and I,ooolb. bone; out 15 months. The brig Bee left Queen Charlotte Sound for Sydney, on the 22d ult. The Schooner Mary Ann left Cloudy Bay for Nelson the 23d ult.
