SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.

ARRIVALS. September 26. — Schooner Lady of the Laic, Axton, from New Plymouth. Sept. 26. — Government Brig Victoria, from Auckland.

DEPARTURES. September 20. —Cutter Catherine JoAnstone, for Wanganui. Sept. 21. — Brig Bee, Unthank, for Sydney. Sept. 22.— Schooner Isabella, Pimble, for Port Cooper.

The Uncle Sam reached Auckland on the 10th September, with part of the cargo of the Falco, and Mr. Williams, the American Consul, and Captain Mosely. The William Hyde, 532 tons, chartered by Lieutenant McDonnell, is loading at the Hokianga for England, with spars. She will complete her loading at Auckland, and sail in all November.

The Committee of the New Zealand Spectator and Cook's Straits Guardian for the ' ensuing six months, commencing with the present number, consists of the Hon. H. Petre, C. Clifford. W. Fitzherbert, E. C hetham, R. Stokes, T. M. Partridge, and William Lyon. The Committee will feel greatly obliged to their Subscribers and friends for the loan of papers of late dates on any arrivals, so that with their own sources of information they may be enabled to furnish the fullest intelligence to their readers.
