SUPREME COURT.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, ihat a Sitting 'of the Supreme CoK&±, for the despatch of Criminal business, will be holden at the Court House, in Wellington, on Monday, the first day of September next, at one o'clock in the forenoon ; and that a Sitting for the despatch of Civil business, will be holden at the Court House, on Monday, the Bth day of said month, at ten o'clock in the forenoon ; at which times and place all persons under recognizances to appear either as prosecutors, defendants, or witnesses, are required to give their attendance. BY DEED bearing date the 31st day of July* 1845, all the outstanding Debts due to the late Firm of Holroyd and Hart, hare been assigned unto the undersigned, Robert Hart, who is duly authorised to collect and recover the same, and to receive all communications directed to the said late Firm. MOUNT ALBERT.

The following are the Signals used at the Flag Staff at Mount Albert. Remarks. — A White Flag at Masi Head denotes a sail in sight; when the class is ascertained, the descriptive Signal will be hoisted at the Yard Arm. English vessel of war, Union Jack at Mast Head. Foreign vessel of war, Union Jack at Mast Head, with white Pendant. Government brig, white Pendant under descriptive Signal. When a vessel is at anchor, either inside oioutside the Heads, the flag is lowered to half mast. A vessel in distress, or on shore, descriptive signal half mast. Fore and aft schooner, a triangle, hollow in the centre.
