SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
ARRIVALS. August 10.— Schooner Eliza, Brown, from the Chatham Islands, with bullocks and pigs. August 12.— Barque Elizabeth, Jones, from Sydney via Jervis' Bay. Same day.— Cutter Ann and Sarah, Sinclair, from Nelson. Same day.— Schooner Sister, Korff, from Sydney via Taranaki. Same day.— Schoonei Perseverance, from Otakau; passenger, the chief Tiroa.
DEPARTURES. Aug. 10 —Schooner Aurora, for Auckland. Aug. 1 1— Joseph Cripps, Winstone, for Sydney. Aug. 12.— Schooner Sarah Jane, for Kaikoras. August 12.— Schooner Ocean, 30 tons, Ferguson, for Manawatu, with sundries. August 12.— Schooner Black Warrior, 10 tons, Anderson, for Ohau, with sundries.
Nelson Shipping. — Arrivals: July2l, schooner Amelia, from Queen Charlotte Sound, with oil ; July 23, cutter Ann and Sarah, from Kawhia, with produce ; July 27, cutter Lively, from Manakau, with barley; Aug. 1, schooner Three Brothers, from Cloudy Bay, with oil ; same day, schooner Carbon, Joyce, from Wellington. Sailed : July 22, Barque Louisa Campbell, for Wellington ; Aug. 1, cutter Ann and Sarah, for Wellington. The Lively reports that the Government Brig Victoria was to leave Auckland for ' Wellington about the end of July. The Three Brothers was about to be hauled down on Fifeshire Island for repairs. The Elizabeth had a run of 14 days from Jervis' Bay, and out of 1,020 sheep only lost 9 ; she proceeds to the New Hebrides for sandal wood. Thfe schooner Lady Leigh arrived at Sydney on the 14th July, was laid on for this port, and may be expected daily. H.M.S. NorfA Star left Sydney on the 17th ult. for Auckland, with Capt. Egerton, the new commander of H.M.S. Hazard. The Perseverance was eleven days at Port Levy on her passage up. Tiroa informs us that the Bee brig was taking in oil at Peraki. By the Eliza we learn that at Hanson's station in the Chatham Islands, they have two whales and one humpback. -
