DEPARTURES. jj u ]y x. — Whaling barque Carnarvon, 300 tons, of Sydney, Irving, for the whaling grounds. Same day.— Schooner Sarah Jane, 27 tons, Swarm, for Kai kora, with whaling stores. Same day.— Schooner Mana, 27 tons, Munn, for Kai kora, with whaling stores. Same day.— Schooner Susannah Ann, 79 tons, Hensley, for the Chatham Islands. Same day. — Schooner / don't know, Waitford, for Sydney, with gum. July 2.— Schooner Joseph Cripps, 78 tons, foi Poverty Bay.

Gillett's party at Mana, on Wednesday, were successful in capturing a whale, being the second tins season. We are gl»d-to learn that 25,000 feet of New Zealand Pine will be shipped from here in the Mary Znne to Sydney. The troop ship Anne had arrived in Sydney, and 150 men of the 58th reg. were ordered to proceed to Auckland. Private letters received by the Bee, announce the arrival of -the Bella Marina at London about the 26th January, ©n the'lsth February the Tyne was reported to be-fillingfast, and would be positively dispatched to this place on the-22d. The Bee encountered very heavy weather in her passage from Sydney. Captain Unthank reports the loss of the hngTobaffo coal laden from Newcastle toXaunceston. The Scotia and Star of China hence, had both arrived at Sydney. The North Star from Auckland arrived on the 12th June.
