Same day — Schooner Lady of the Lake, 25 tons, Axton, from Taranaki. Same day— Cutter Levin, 24 tons, Popplewell, from Akaroa. April 30 — Schooner Mana, 27 tons, Munn, from the Kai Koras. The Royal Consort, from London to Sydney, signalled H. M. Barque Dcedalat 14th January, from Plymouth bound to China via New Zealand. The Schooner Kate left Auckland on the"7th April for Wellington. When the Levin left Akaroa there was only one whaler in port, the American ship Hannibal, of Sag harbour. The Eliza from the Chathams reports that the Susannah Ann had arrived there, but owing to heavy weather had put out to sea again, she had not returned when the Eliza left. Brazil Trade. — The following is an extract of a letter, dated Bahia, Oct. 10, from Messrs. Fleetwood, P. Wilson & Co. :— " A decree has been,passed by -the Brazilian Government to the effect that all vessels touching at this port for supplies, will be exempt from paying anchorage or Port charges. The Lady Leigh left Auckland on the.LOth April for Sydney.
