NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENTS.

We have received a letter from Mr, Hart, referring to a certain placard and its author, but we cannot depart from the rule we have laid down in refusing to make this paper the vehicle of personal disputes. We have received a letter from Mr. Fonaith inclosing the copy of a correspondence between him and hit Honor the Superintendent relating to his plan for depriving the intruding natives of the Huttfrom the advantage of commercial intercourse with the settlers. Want of space prevents us from doing more than acknowledge its receipt, but we will publish the correspondence next week with a few observations of our own.
