NEW ZEALAND AGENCY.

]\|R. F. W. JERNINGHAM begs to infom his friends and the colonists, that he is- about to return to England by the Caledonia? in April next, and intends to open a General Agency Business in 'London in connection with this colony. His chief object will be introducing, not only to the English public, but to the foreign markets, the new and valuable productions of New Zealand. He therefore solicits their support, and assures them that all business entrusted to his care will meet with the strictest attention and despatch. Parties wishing to ship by the Caledonia, not having Agents in England, can make arrangements with Mr. Jerningham during the next month, or by application to Messrs. Clifford and Vavasour, Wellington. Thorndon Beach, Jan. 31, 1845.

TO be sold, without reserve, on Thursday, the 24th day of April, 1845, by Mr. S. MOCATTA, at i past 12 o'clock, at Te-aro, the following valuable property, situate in the Town of Wellington, and Hutt district, New Ulster, New Zealand — viz — Lot I — Lease from John Came Bidwell, Esq., to John Dorset, Esq., of all that piece or parcel of ground containing 77 feet in Lambton Quay, by a depth of 60 feet, with the valuable buildings erected thereon, being part of Town acre No. 515, held for the term of 10 years from the 17th March, 1641, at the yearly rent of

Gunn, of all that piece of ground containing 30 feet in Sydney-street, and in depth 132 feet, together with the messuages and building erected thereon, and now in the occupation of Gunn and Murray, held for the term of 10 years from the 17th day of Mareb, 1842, at the yearly rent of £20 Lot 5-"-Agreement for lease from the said Job* Came Bidwcfi, Esq., to William Hay, Esq., of all that piece of grottod, containing forty feet frontage on Thorndon Quay, and 50 feet deep, with all that substantial building or dwelling house erected thereon, known as the Wakefield Club house, held for 9 years from 24th day of June, 1842, at the yearly rent of £20. Lot fr-=-A Small Plot of Ground situate in Sydney Street, containing 60 feet frontage, by a deptb of 106 feet, now unoccupied. Lot 7-* A valuable Plot of Ground situate in Mulgrave Street, and containing 43 feet frontage, by a depth of 66 feet, now unoccupied. Lot B— A piece of Beach Frontage, lymg between Dr. Dorset's and the Chtb House, about 70 feet. Lot 9 — Town; acre, numbered 212 on the Plan of the Town of Wellington, situate in the most eligible part of the Town, with right of wharfage between Messrs* Rhodes & Co. and Messrs. Ridgways stores.
