We may add as news connected with' this subject, that the barqie Broughwt, which has long been engaged in the trade of this settlement, has been fitted out as a whaler for the South Seas, and sailed from England shortly after the Caledonia.

Several parcels have been taken by the Dundee manufacturers. Fnrniture Timbers are much admired, and bid fair to be in general request. Some parcels have lately realised high prices, in veneers.
