In the General Dealers' licensing Ordinance, the following will be proposed as the substance of the principal provisions :—: — 1. The juim.es of all Licensed merchants or dealers, and the returns of rate required to be made by the Ordinance, shall be published in the Ggvarnment Gazette. 8. Dealing in imported goods, without a License, shall be liable to a line of [50j. 9. A false return shall be punishable by a, fine of [50]], by forfeiture of the license, and by disqualification to hold a License in future. 10.
