SCHEDULE. SCALE OF ALLOWANCE.
Where the chief to whom any warrant shall be directed shall reside within fifty miles measured in a straight line from the Police Office of the district, the sum of £2 0 0 Where he shall reside at any greater distance, the above sum of £2, and one shilling per mile for every additional mile above fifty.
