F ARM IN THE WII AREA M A DISTRICT, FOR SALE, BY PRIVATE CONTRACT. A very valuable Farm situated in the Whareama District, containing about 927 acres of freehold land, being sections Nos. 384, 385, and portions of sections Nos. 382 and 383, at present in the occupation of Mr. J. H. Whishaw, Tenui. The land is rich, alluvial, and cleared, with the exception of about 20 acres, -which is still covered with. bush. Upwards of 500 acres has' been burnt, and is well covered with fine grass. A ten-acre paddock has been specially enclosed, thoroughly ploughed, and set apart for growing grass seed. Four and one-half miles of boundary and three miles of division fences have been put up mostly with totara posts and strong wire ; on the flats and near the river a portion is bank and ditch fence with six wires on the top. The Whareama River runs through the farm, and there are some magnificent flats included in it. There is a very excellent Dwelling-house, well and strongly built of totara, Stockyards, Milking Shed, and Calves Pen, and Timber has been laid on the ground for putting up a new set of Sheep Yards. 1200 Sheep, more or less, chiefly good crossbred ewes, several Dairy Cows, and a team of Working Bullocks will be given in with the freehold. This extremely valuable Estate is situated within a distance of twelve miles from Castle Point, a most convenient shipping place, where steamers call regularly once or twice every week. There is an excellent road the whole way to what may be termed the port of the district. There is also a good road to Masterton which will before long be connected by railway with Wellington.
