We quote butter in kegs lOd. to lid. per lb., with little offering for sale, as country makers arp holding back their stocks ; cheese in good demand at lOd. to IOId. for prime Canterbury make ; hams and bacon, is. 4d. and is. perlb.; flour, £ll 10s. to £l2 for Canterbury and Oamaru mills in bakers’ lots ; market rather hare. Mr. Janies Smith yesterday held a produce sale on the wharf. There was a large attendance, and satisfactory prices were realised.
